Terry still lacking self-awareness

The link will take you to his latest oddity, an attack on the Herald, and in particular Iain MacWhirter, who he accuses of being an SNP cheerleader.

He appears to have issues with some of the conclusions MacWhirter reached in his column on party funding, and wrote a letter to reply. It seems the letter hasn't been published, and Terry is not a happy bunny:

I wrote on the 16/01/08 and nothing has been printed. I think it's a pretty valid question but the mighty Herald seems to be afraid of it, is it any wonder that many people consider this paper a busted flush, what should we make of it ?

This, of course, from the King of the Inconsistent Comments Policy. Is he that eager to get back at the paper (they went published his sexist rant, remember) that he's forgotten one of his many major flaws? Is it just another case of Terry failing to look at the whole picture before he starts ranting?

Or is Terry just being a hypocritical bastard for the 1,954,217th time?

Dear Cllr. Kelly,

In regard to your letter of 16th January 2008, I am afraid that we were unable to publish it because the majority of its content was incoherent and littered with spelling and other grammatical errors.

Regards
The Herald

I've given up attempting sensible debate with the buffoon.

It's much more fun to poke him with a verbal stick and treat him with the ridicule he so richly deserves.

I wonder if there's a chance for Terry to end up in a flamewar with Iain Macwhirter? I've offered Terry the chance to begin his fightback against the smartest political commentator in Scotland... let's see if he takes it.

Was it Lenin who talked about providing capitalists with the rope with which they will hang themselves? Turns out, it might work for "Socialists" as well...

Oh God! Terry really doesn't know when he's outclassed does he?

He's just asked me the same question he asked Macwhirter... I guess he can't stand me being nice to him.

I just pointed out that because our LGBT wing is hosting a Holocaust Memorial Day event at the Glasgow LGBT Centre, and the SNP Government is supporting anti-hate crime proposals, we can see exactly what influence Souter appears to be having.

Then because he keeps going on about the £950, I just acknowledged his point, and said that £1million was the going rate for a policy change. ;)

Let's see what happens, especially as he can't censor people on someone else's blog!

Yes something which I have just taken advantage of.
