While waiting for the great man to post about Harry being a coward because the Army have ordered him home I thought I would relate a story about Terry and maybe educate you all a little.

Those who have heard him speak in Council testify that in fact he is a very eloquent man. When reading speeches he is very good. Hardly surprising as he has been at it for a decade.

Of course his presentational skills let him down online.

Terry is a useful idiot

I don't think Blogger let me post to Terry over his tearful farewell to the old tinpot. Or I have managed to post 10 times. So here it is here just in case:

The "brilliant" healthcare and education system is generally now accepted
as a farce by all except you and Michael Moore. Similar to those trade
unionists who visited the USSR in the '60's and was shown round party facilities
and believed the lie the ordinary people could use them. Moscow themselves
referred to such people as "useful idiots".

Castro was a Stalinist homophobic dictator. Some of us noted that
Castro would never give up power in his lifetime and have noted that since he
"went in for surgery" he has not been seen except by fellow-travellers.

And even now history is being written. Castro's high water mark
will always be the missile crisis. During the '80's he is not even a
footnote - squeezed out as he is by the true giants and world shapers - Reagan
and Gorbachev.

He will be remembered as a man who was lauded by craven fools as the man
who "outlasted 10 US presidents". He will be remembered by the rest of us
as an oppressor, dictator and murder of the worker and a thief of the product of
their labour. He will be remembered as a man who presided over his own
insignificant little island and a singular failure as an exporter of Marxist
revolution. A laughing stock.

Fidel leaves power - Terry mourns.

Since Fidel handed over power a few days back, Scotland's favorite socialist has been rather quiet on the subject.

Terry's favourite murderer gone

I look forward to Terry's blog being updated today with another fawning article about a gay-bashing murderer.

With Old Fidel finally leaving we can now all hope that this despot's departure from the international stage will prompt the Cuban people to rise up from their slavery to Communism, overthrow the oppressive, murderous regime in Havana and institute democracy in their island nation.

As a gesture of goodwill the US should now formally end it's embargo of Cuba and call for economic and social reforms in that country. We should work towards nurturing the Cuban dissident movement, there can be a very quick turn around in this situation and George Bush can yet claim to be another Republican president who defeated communism.

Paisley really is where it's at...

...if you want to witness the shenanigans of Labour politicians who have recently been booted out of power and aren't quite sure how to react. Not only is there our dear Terry, and his pal Tommy Williams, but also Wendy Alexander, who (as regular readers will know) may or may not have been unfortunate enough to have had Terry for an election agent for a time, depending on what mood our hero is in and what he's claiming at any given moment. And there's also an entire Labour group on Renfrewshire Council, remember.

Anyway, I hear through the grapevine that if you have tale concerning any hi-jinks on the part of Wendy, Terry, Tommy, or the rest of the motley crew that is Labour in Paisley, you can forward it on to paisley.pattern@gmail.com where it will no doubt be treated with the utmost glee.

Have I silenced Terry?

It's now got to the point where Terry is crying foul and accusing me of abuse. I love the whole line where he says: "I think it’s because I have shone a light on you and you don’t like what people can see."

This from the man who replies to everything with personal attacks, and who can't shine a light on, well, anything, as he can't get the facts correct on any subject he brings up.

Well, it's taken him twenty-four hours, but he's finally published my reply: where I present a brief sample of some of the abuse he's thrown my way over the last year. I'm not sure he even intended to, as more often than not, he replies to comments as soon as he's approved them for publication.

But so far, nothing. Has he nothing to say this time? He found time to let the comment go through about 5-6 hours ago, but he hasn't replied, at least, not yet.

What's taking him so long? Has his own reply violated his comment moderation policy?
